Purpose of the road closure is to consolidate with lands the neighbouring parcel.
Written Submissions and Public Hearing
Any person who believes they may be affected by the proposed bylaw, or who wishes to provide comments for Council's consideration, may submit written comments prior to the Public Hearing and/or make a presentation at the Public Hearing.
Written submissions must be received by Starland County no later than 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on August 25th 2026.
Written submissions received by the deadline will be provided to Council for review before the Public Hearing and will form part of the public record.

The Public Hearing will be held on August 26th at 9:00 am in the Council Chambers at the Starland County Administration Office, 217 Railway Avenue North, Morrin, Alberta.
Any person wishing to speak at the Public Hearing will be given an opportunity to be heard. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to allow Council to receive submissions from persons who may be affected by the proposed bylaw before making a decision.
Personal information contained in written submissions is collected under the authority of the Municipal Government Act and sections 4(c) and 5(2) of the Protection of Privacy Act for the purpose of receiving and considering public input on proposed Bylaw #2018 and administering the Public Hearing process. Written submissions received by the deadline will be provided to
Council for review before the Public Hearing and will form part of the public record, which may be included in a Council agenda package available to the public. Starland County may use and disclose this information in accordance with sections 12, 13, and 14 of the Protection of Privacy Act.
