$1,000 Scholarship Opportunity for Starland County Residents!

Are you a student from Starland County heading to college or university? The Rural Municipalities of Alberta (RMA) is offering a $1,000 scholarship to one student from each of its five districts — and you could be one of them!

✅ Eligibility:

• Resident of a municipality that is a full RMA member (like Starland County)
• Enrolled in the first four years of a recognized post-secondary program
• Preference for students attending Alberta institutions
• Program of study should relate to local government or rural communities (broadly interpreted)

📄 Application Must Include:

• A personal letter outlining your goals and how your studies relate to rural communities
• Official transcripts (high school or post-secondary)
• A brief résumé
• Proof of residency from Starland County’s CAO
