All municipal candidates are advised of the following mandatory meeting dates:

1. Councillor Orientation
Attendance is mandatory before taking office as per the Municipal Government Act, section 201.1
• Date: October 23rd
• Time: 9:00 AM
• Location: Starland County Office

2. Local Authority Elected Official Training
Elected officials must complete this training within 90 days of assuming office
• Date: October 27th
• Time: 10:00 AM
• Location: Starland County Office

3. Organizational Meeting
Each Councillor-elect must take their oath of office during this meeting
• Date: October 29th
• Time: 9:00 AM
• Location: Starland County Office
