The Starland Economic Development Survey was conducted to gather insights from residents regarding various aspects of economic development within Starland County. The survey received 77 responses over a period of 51 days. Responses compiled from the written portion of the survey will be kept confidential, as it was answered anonymously, but have been recorded for accuracy. 

Starland County 2021-2031 Strategic Plan lists Economic Growth as its first priority and is now embarking on an Economic Development Strategy to guide that growth.  Consequently, the main objectives of this project are to prepare an Economic Development Strategy and an Action Plan, which will provide a roadmap for key sectors regarding growth within Starland County, completed by Schollie Research and Consulting. The strategy was partially funded by the Northern and Regional Economic Development Program grant intake process through the province of Alberta.
