Site Preparation Underway for Future Rumsey Fire Equipment Storage Hall

 

Work has officially begun on the empty lot at 230 Main Street, directly across from the Fire Hall, to prepare the site for the future Rumsey Fire Equipment Storage Hall.

Crews are currently removing old concrete from a previous structure and clearing several large tree stumps and roots. This marks the first step in transforming the space into a dedicated facility for storing firefighter equipment, helping support local emergency services. Cleanup work is expected to last one to two weeks.
