2025 Recreation Grants (Operational Grants)

The Council of Starland County is requesting proposals from organizations, individuals and local governments within the boundaries of Starland County, for operational expenses for 2025. These may include operational expenses for existing recreation and cultural facilities only. Eligible operational expenses include utilities. Please note that budget limitations prevent Council from assisting organizations with capital projects, including major repairs, renovations or capital purchases.

Applications must include the following:
1. The latest audited financial statement of the organization.
2. A proposed budget for the current year.
3. A summary of expected operational expenses.
4. The amount of the grant requested.
5. The Societies Act Registration number and a copy of the Certificate (if applicable).

Please note that the operational expenses must be incurred in 2025.
There is a limited amount of funds available for operational assistance.
Requests for funding assistance must be sent to the following address and must be received prior to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025.
