Seasonal Utility Labourer

Full Time | Seasonal (40 hrs/week)

 

Starland County is seeking a full time Utility Labourer in our Municipal Services Department who will be responsible for maintaining the water stations in the hamlets and villages within Starland County as well as assisting the Utility Operators and Municipal Services Director with tasks. 

The job duties will include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Weed whipping and mowing around the water stations within the County
  • Clean any debris / garbage from areas prior to mowing
  • General maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Help with daily on-site tasks related to the recreation department
  • Assist in maintaining the grounds of recreational facilities and other properties owned by Starland County

The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week. The wage range for this position ranges from $15.00 - $22.23 per hour.
